WHAT IS A MENTOR/MENTEE RELATIONSHIP IN THE DAWSON PROGRAM?

An effective mentor/mentee relationship is mutually beneficial and respectful. Being a mentor assists your own journey as well as the journey of the student you will be mentoring (the mentee). It involves the acquisition and sharing of knowledge in alignment with the needs of the mentee. In sharing this knowledge, the awareness of both the mentor and the mentee will grow. The Dawson Program model of continuous learning provides an opportunity for mentor/mentee relationships of this nature to be undertaken.
